The First Aircraft Built From Indian-Made

Parts Maiden Flight By May 1962. 

The Last Indian-Constructed Gnat F.1 

Was Delivered On 31 January 1974.

The Indian Air Force Became The Largest Operator 

Used During The Initial Phase 

Of The 1965 War Against Pakistan Air Force. 

Scored It's First Air Victory.

It Had Electronic Issues and A Fire 

While Maneuvering And Shooting Down The Target.

 Eventually Manufactured The Aircraft Under License
