The Snow Mass That Accumulates,
Is Very Unpredictable,
The People That Take The Chance.
Skiing Un-Patrolled Area
Lives Have Been Lost. Besides Small Reports,
The Press Never Covers The Events That Lead To Death.
Many Skiers Just Disappear.
Their Vehicles Are Towed Because The Owners,
Came Back From Their Adventure.
Guides In That Region Have The Same Problem.
They Just Vanish, The State Says There Many Reports
Of Ski Folks That Never Come Back.
Since, These People Are Loners,
The Chance Of Communicating Is Shorth And Brief.
The Term They Are On Vacation Is Used.
They Never Return.
Most Of Alaska Is Un-Patrolled.
Vacations That Include Skiing
Are Advertised, No One Responds.
The Guides That Advertise, Have Little Experience.
This Business Is A Free For All,
Since It Is Not Controlled By The State.
It Is Done On Federal Lands.
Permits Maybe Issued, Not Regulated.
Alaska Is The Real Last Frontier.
